The Hawaiian islands known collectively as Hawaii, 22n 158w, is
located about 2400 miles southwest of Los Angeles. It's main islands are Hawaii, Kauai,
Lanai Molokai and Oahu. The capital is Honolulu located on the island of Oahu. Click

Guam, 13N 144E, is located about 3500 miles west of Hawaii. Guam
is a territory of the United States. The capital city is Agana (pronounced Aganya).
Located west of the International Dateline, the residence like to say that it's

Fiji, 18S 178E, is located about 1300 miles north of New Zealand.
The capital city is Suva located on the island of Viti Lavu where most tourism occurs. The
trip from Los Angeles is ten hours by Air Pacific or Air New Zealand. Island
hopping by small plane to land on grass runways is not for the white knuckel traveler.

Tahiti, 18S 150W, is part of French Polynesia and is a French
territory. It is located about 2800 miles southeast of Hawaii. Papeete is the capital city

Tonga, 20S 175W, is located about 1250 miles northeast of Auckland
N.Z. The official name is Kingdom of Tonga because it is a constitutional monarchy. The

American Samoa, 14S 170W, is a territory of the United States,
located about 2200 miles southwest of Hawaii. The capital city is Pago Pago (pronounced
